2012 Charity Drive Photos and Information
Summer at Sunsetview Farm Camping Area in Monson Massachusetts means fun, relaxing and spending time with friends and family. But to a very generous group of campers here at Sunsetview, it also means taking the time to extend a helping hand. This season all funds raised were split between The Ronald McDonald House Of Springfield and the Springfield Shriners Hospital For Children. These local charities do wonderful work in our community!
Thank you to our charity commitee co - chairs:
- Kim and Norm Fortini Squirrel Hollow
- Len and Doris Frigon Site A5
Thank you From Kim
Well our Labor Day Raffle and 50/50 were a great success this year, we passed our totals from last year. This could not have been done without our campers. I want to thank everyone that helped out by either collecting donations, selling tickets, setting up and breaking down and purchasing tickets. I also want to thank my co-chairs Len & Doris Frigon for all of their hard work collecting donations. The list of volunteers is endless and consisted of seasonal, weekend and monthly campers which is awesome. I’m looking forward to seeing everyone at the check presentation Columbus Day Weekend.
Thanks From Kim
Thank You From Len
What a wonderful weekend!!! Labor Day represented the culmination of our fundraising season and it was a resounding success. The Chinese raffle and the 50/50 raffle were both outstanding events this season! We are so very pleased with the results. A big thank you goes out to Lisa and the Sunsetview staff for their cooperation and support, and to all of the volunteers who assisted with both the Chinese Raffle and the 50/50 Raffle. A very special “thank you” to all of you campers here at Sunsetview. Your generosity is truly overwhelming. You are a super group of people—the very best. On behalf of Doris and myself, we extend our thanks to all of you for making our fundraising efforts a huge success.
From Len and Doris
