• Our charities for 2013 will be The Ronald McDonald House of Springfield and The Springfield Shriners Childrens Hospital. Check for events throughout the summer that benefit these great local organizations.
• Be sure to check each weekend for Captain Ron’s hours and specials!

April 12th: Campground Opens
(Weather Permitting)

May 10th, 11th, 12th: Mothers Day Weekend.
Our weekend activities begin including ball games, crafts, bingo, horseshoes, wagon rides, and more. Come to our "Mom's Prom." Ladies, do you still have that prom or bridesmaid gown some where in your closest? Say yes to the dress and join DJ Christopher Robin Saturday evening for a “Mom’s Prom.” Prizes awarded! Sunday join Captain Ron for Mothers Day Breakfast, Mom’s eat free!

May 17th, 18th, 19th: Eighties Karaoke Weekend.
Omigod! I'm so sure, its Eighties Weekend! We will have everyone's favorite craft, Tie Dying Eighties Style! Saturday evening join us for a night of "straight up" fun! Time to tease the hair, slide on those rubber bracelets, strike a pose and crank out your favorite eighties tunes with eighties themed Karaoke! Back by popular demand, Prizes awarded for “Best Eighties Look!” Fer Sure! If you dare bring a photo of your best eighties hair to share!

May 24th, 25th, 26th, 27th: Memorial Day Weekend.
The swimming pool opens this weekend. Friday night Children's Fun Hour and Adult Darts begin and will be held every other week until Labor Day. All of our regular activities will be held including our annual Field Day Events. A DJ Dance and a Live Band will round out the weekend.

May 31st, June 1st, 2nd: Karaoke.
Friday night Pokeno and Kids Camp Club begins and will be held every other week until Labor Day. All of our regular activities will be held. Saturday night join us for Karaoke!

June 7th, 8th, 9th: DJ Dance.
Friday night Children's Fun Hour and Adult Darts. All of our regular activities will be held. Saturday night join us for a DJ Dance.

June 14th, 15th, 16th: Fathers Day Weekend.
Friday night Pokeno and Kids Camp Club. All of our regular activities will be held. Saturday night Dads compete for the NEW title of “Favorite Fanatic Father Fan” Face Painters rejoice! Dads dress up to support your favorite sports team, mascot, or athlete. Prizes awarded for the most extreme display of fan appreciation. Spectators enjoy a Live Band. Sunday Captain Ron will have a special Fathers Day Breakfast, Dad’s eat free!

June 21st, 22nd, 23rd: Irish Weekend.
Friday night Children’s Fun Hour and Adult Darts. Welcome to Irish Weekend! We will have Sunsetview’s version of Highland Games and Races for all ages throughout the day on Saturday. Saturday evening we will hold an old school Tug of War Contest over the pond! This event will be for ages 13 and up, and teams will consist of 6 members, 3 lads and 3 lassies. The evening will finish off with some music with our DJ Christopher Robin. And may the luck of the Irish be with you!

June 28th, 29th, 30th: Pirate Weekend!
Friday night Pokeno and Kids Camp Club. “Arrr Maties”, its Pirate Weekend! We will have our annual Children’s Obstacle Course-Scallywag Style. Saturday night all ye lads and lassies set sail for a three hour tour on Sunsetview Lagoon! Join us for a swashbuckling good time with our own landlubber DJ Christopher Robin out on the beach! Wear your best, we will be judging ye for a Costume Contest! We will also have a Make Your Own Pirate Ship Contest for all ages. Make sure it can stay afloat! All fun will be followed up by a good old fashioned Shipwreck Bonfire. And remember dead men tell no tales! Savvy?

July 3rd: Wednesday Movie night begins for the summer.

July 4th - 7th: Fourth Of July Weekend.
Thursday night, note day change, Children’s Fun Hour and Adult Darts. We will have a full schedule of activities. Enjoy a DJ Dance and a Live Band. Our annual Fourth Of July Parade will be held on Saturday the 6th this year. NEW THIS YEAR our parade will be Mardi Gras Themed. Decorate your bikes, strollers, golf carts, etc. in Red, White and Blue or Green, Purple and Gold! A contest will determine our King, Queen, Duke and Maid who will ride in a place of honor in our Mardi Gras themed parade! The town of Monson will hold its annual Summerfest celebration on July 4th.

July 11th: Thursday night Adult Bingo begins for the summer.

July 12th, 13th, 14th: Sunsetview's 43rd Birthday and Charity Auction.
Friday night Pokeno and Kids Camp Club. Come celebrate your campgrounds birthday with Camper Carnival Games, Face Painting, a Pie Eating Contest and more! Back by popular demand, NEW Saturday night we will hold A Charity Auction! Campers, do you have an item taking up space? Now is the time to donate it for a great cause! Everybody wins! Happy Birthday!!

July 19th, 20th, 21st: Annual Beach Dance.
Friday night Children’s Fun Hour and Adult Darts. Join us for fun in the sun and playing in the pond. DJ Christopher Robin will be playing all your favorite beach tunes. Featured activities include a Limbo Contest for all ages and a Volleyball Tourney for ages 13 and up. Come root on your favorite team and enjoy all the excitement!

July 26th, 27th, 28th: Christmas In July.
Friday night Pokeno and Kids Camp Club. Bring your holiday decorations and help us trim the campground sidewalks in holiday style, in the air there’s a feeling of Christmas! We will have a Christmas Party Saturday night to get us all in the holiday spirit. Help us welcome Santa and his elves Saturday Night!

August 2nd, 3rd, 4th: Car and Motorcycle Show!
Friday night Children’s Fun Hour and Adult Darts. We will have all of our regular activities. Plus, enjoy our Car and Motorcycle Show and cast your vote for your favorites. Saturday night enjoy a Live Band.

August 9th, 10th, 11th: Island Luau.
Friday night Pokeno and Kids Camp Club. Join us on the beach for a slice of Hawaii in our own backyard. DJ Christopher Robin will be playing island tunes for your listening pleasure! Activities include Two Person Boat Race (13 and up), with prizes awarded for first, second and third place! Also a Limbo Contest for all ages.

August 16th, 17th, 18th: Celebrity Karaoke!
Friday night Children’s Fun Hour and Adult Darts. Did you ever want to get up on stage and perform like a rock star? Here is your chance to dress up as your favorite performer and live out your dream! We will have prizes awarded in two age categories, 15 and under and 16 through adult. See you at the show!

August 23rd, 24th, 25th: Halloween. ******
Friday night Pokeno and Kids Camp Club. Watch our campground experience a truly terrifying transformation! Help us by decorating yourselves and your campsites! We will have a Costume Parade and Contest as well as Trick or Treating throughout the campground. If you dare, come to our DJ Monster Bash! Also featured is our annual “Spook Ride.” A fee will be charged to benefit a local charity. ******Please note we have a visitor limit on this weekend and all visitors must be registered in advance. ******

August 30 - September 1st: Labor Day Weekend.
Friday night Children’s Fun Hour and Adult Darts. Enjoy a full schedule of activities. We will hold our annual Bingo and Pokeno Marathons. Saturday night we will have a Live Band. Sunday night we will feature our Chinese Raffle to benefit our charities, Great items for a great cause!!

September Weekends:
Bingo and Pokeno continue on the weekends. Always check for pick up games!

October 11th, 12th, 13th, 14th: Columbus Day Weekend.
Friday night Adult Darts. All of our regular activities return for one last time before the cold arrives. Join us for our camp favorites Scarecrow Making and a Scavenger Hunt! Also, carve a pumpkin and enter your creation in our annual Pumpkin Carving Contest, adult and youth division. We will have our last DJ Dance and Karaoke evenings of the season.

October 15th : Campground Closes.
